Doomsday Clock: Five Minutes Till Midnight!

Wed Jan 17, 2007, 7:13 PM
  • Mood: Cheerful
  • Listening to: Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Glen Miller, etc.
  • Reading: The Great Escape - Paul Brickhill
  • Watching: The Hunt for Red October
  • Playing: Tales of Phantasia
  • Drinking: Tea.
Today the famous Doomsday Clock, created by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists in 1947, was reset from seven to five minutes till midnight, symbolizing the world moving closer to Armageddon. I KNEW that if this war got too out of hand this would happen! Drat! :-x

Ah, to think such an event would occur so soon! A tragedy, but not alltogether unexpected.
