Speech #1

Fri Jan 12, 2007, 11:22 AM
  • Mood: Cheerful
  • Listening to: Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Glen Miller, etc.
  • Reading: The Great Escape - Paul Brickhill
  • Watching: The Hunt for Red October
  • Playing: Tales of Phantasia
  • Drinking: Tea.
I had to give a speech in front of the whole school today telling them what I thought would be the ideal theme song for last year. I was nervous, but afterwards the teachers were telling me what a great job I did. It all worked out in the end, and I received 50 extra credit points! And the song? Marshall Crenshaw's "Someday, Someway".

Excellent job, my friend! Incidentally, just where did this speech take place?

In the school gymnasium. It has good acoustics, plus it's the only place in the building that can hold all the students at once.

Sigh... So many submarines, so little time.

Captain Tupolev, I await your command!

I thought so. It makes perfect sense to me. Unfortunately, I have yet to make a speech, but I am certain that I would be a master at it.
