The End Of A Chapter

Sat Jan 20, 2007, 2:11 PM
  • Mood: Defeated
I've been contemplating leaving DA for a while. I know it's happened before, but I'm serious this time. I used to have so much fun here, but now I feel like some sort of burden. I don't want any false sympathy or people begging me to stay just for the heck of it. I'll leave this account active for the few who like to look at my work, and for those people who want me to, if I create a new account I'll let them know. If not, well... Everything must end sometime. From thrills to catastrophic heartbreaks, it wasn't such a total loss. Good-bye, comrades. It was fun.

Today the famous Doomsday Clock, created by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists in 1947, was reset from seven to five minutes till midnight, symbolizing the world moving closer to Armageddon. I KNEW that if this war got too out of hand this would happen! Drat! :-x

I had to give a speech in front of the whole school today telling them what I thought would be the ideal theme song for last year. I was nervous, but afterwards the teachers were telling me what a great job I did. It all worked out in the end, and I received 50 extra credit points! And the song? Marshall Crenshaw's "Someday, Someway".
